A block of 50 from the bottom left corner of the sheet with horizontal black lines
Sheet margins showing inscription and arrows
These retail at £8 per stamp, thus £400 plus a percentage for the size of the block
VERY RARE with only one larger multiple known, this being a full double pane sheet
A superb item for any postage due or training school collection
One of three recorded blocks this size

Christmas 1990 cover with 2p and 1p stamps, each with a red bar
Single LPS / PHG (london Postal Section / Postman Higher Grade) date-stamp applied - neatly tieing the stamps to the cover and additional large 'CANCELLED' hand-stamp at the bottom right

Damaged by sea water

Valvoline Oil Company, New York - printed envelope
Stamp missing cancelled at new York dated the 24 February 1917
Black handstamp 'DAMAGED BY SEA WATER' applied below the cancellation
White label sealing the rear flaps.
Where the envelope has been opened along the top, and due to the water damage, the flaps are no longer sealed - but envelope is still intact due to the label holding the top part to the rest.
A neat period cover that will display nicely

Canadain Pacific Railway postcard
Outside my knowledge area so offered as seen
pre-printed 1c red - King Edward 7 postcard
I assume that the card was then (over) printed with the design showing the 'Place Viger Hotel'
Rear shows the Canadian Pacific Railway - statement of earnings etc
Dated on the rear 28 April 1908 and postally used on the 30 April 1908
Some slight creaseing at the top and bottom left side (as viewed from the front)
A nice example sent overseas to London, England

Crimea cancellation
FORGERY
One penny red and Two pence blue (plate 5) used on piece with the Crimea 'Star / Crown / Star' cancellation
The stamps are real but the cancellations are forgeries
A nice item to show this rare postmark
