1924 Wembley Training School A nice pair of the 1d red overprinted with training school black bars The perforations at the rear have been re-enforced with a stamp hinge and under a glass it looks like there is partial seperation of the perfs at the bottom between the pairs .. this explains why it was re-enforced. Examples of this issue are rare and multiples very much so. We are aware of three pairs and a block of 4 known and another pair that we were told about, but this has never been confirmed. A single example of this stamp that we sold on ebay went for over £50 and this pair is offered at below that level |
