Within this section I hope to provide details of the known covers that show imperforate and perforated stamps used together.
As far as I know, there is no listing of these items and this section I hope start to provide this information. Click on the pictures to see the full size image It has been suggested by at least one specialist collector that the length of the imperf / perf transitional period might have been from February 1854 to August 1854 and a shorter period for the 1d red combinations. Anything significantly outside this time band would, it has been stated, be little more than a curiousity items, being late use of the imperforate stamps rather than general use of the two issues together as they were available.
