      In May 2007 a request was recieved by the webmaster from the Land Registry department to buy a copy of my listing on the fical stamps used by this department. It appeared that although they recieved requests for this type of information they had no record of the stamps used at the various times in their history.

      A copy was sent to them free, (and this is available in the library section of this site), and in exchange they provided copies of letters held in their arhives which are now being placed on-line to allow those intrested to see how certain situatons developed. Scroll down for more details
